ABOUT THE BIRTHPLACE OF PEPSI IN NEW BERN, NC

The Birthplace of Pepsi, located in historic New Bern, North Carolina, is the actual site where Caleb Bradham first invented Pepsi-Cola in his pharmacy in 1898.

The Birthplace of Pepsi is owned and operated by the Minges Bottling Group located in Ayden, North Carolina, and first opened its doors on the 100th Anniversary of Pepsi-Cola in 1998.

We welcome you to visit the Birthplace of Pepsi and learn more about the history of its inventor and the early days of one of the world’s favorite soft drinks. The Birthplace is open Monday through Saturday 10am until 6pm and Sundays 12pm until 4pm. All items in our store are available online and can easily be purchased from this website.
